ROSES
Hi! My name is Daniel Roses. I’ve been working in the world of design and illustration for over 10 years. What I do is create web and UX/UI design, illustration, brand identity, and everything visual to help brands and media connect better with people.
Before dedicating myself to design, I studied a degree in Humanities. This helped me develop critical and creative thinking, which has allowed me to better understand how to tell stories visually and solve problems in original ways.
I currently work on the digital team at PRISA Radio, where radio is not just something you listen to—thanks to new forms of digital communication, it’s also something you can see. I’ve done art direction for podcast covers for Cadena SER as well as for some of the group’s music stations, such as LOS40 and Cadena Dial. I’ve also designed the visual identity for programs like Hora Veintipico, Sastre & Maldonado, Ni tan Bien, and En Clave de Rhodes. I led the redesign of the websites for Cadena Dial, Caracol, ADN, WRadio, among others. Additionally, I had the opportunity to create the new visual identity for Radiolé.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with various media outlets such as Público and El Periódico, specializing in editorial illustration, advertising campaigns, and publication design.
I also collaborate with the production company Guy Blaché Films, where I lead art direction and visual identity development for audiovisual projects.
To me, every brand—like every person—has its own unique character, and my job is to capture that essence and reflect it visually in an authentic way. I believe good design must go beyond the literal. It’s not just about showing an exact image, but about creating a message that speaks to the audience and connects on a deeper level. The image should capture the essence of what’s being communicated, while also inviting reflection and forging an emotional
"Design is not just about making something look good, it's about communicating something in a way that connects with people."

What I enjoy most about my work is being able to balance responsibility with creative freedom. For me, design is a combination of analysis and play; without that playful component, creativity becomes limited. Enjoying the process, being surprised, and playing with ideas is essential to creating fresh, original, and meaningful visual solutions. Each project requires deep analysis to connect with the audience clearly and emotionally, but always without losing the ability to have fun and let imagination take the lead. That blend is what brings life and meaning to my work.
